Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read and use this site. Here is what we do, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to tell us.

What we aim for

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring and a skip link.
  • Text and controls meet AA contrast on their actual backgrounds; we measure each pairing.
  • If your system asks for reduced motion, the loader, smooth scrolling and animations switch off and every section renders in place.
  • The moving keyword band has a pause button.
  • Animated diagrams are decorative; the same information is in the text beside them.
  • Form errors are announced and linked to the field they belong to.

Known limitations

  • The decorative ASCII backgrounds are drawn on a canvas and are hidden from assistive technology on purpose.
  • We have run automated and keyboard checks, but not yet a full audit with screen reader users.

Tell us

If something gets in your way, please tell us through the contact form with the page and what happened. We treat accessibility problems as bugs.
